Reporting directly to the Controller, the Business Office Associate is a member of the school’s Business Office. Primary responsibilities for this position include managing all aspects of payroll, accounts payable, and student billing functions. The Business Office Associate is expected to be a key contributor in the Business Office while supporting the financial needs for all constituents of the 名媛直播 community.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Payroll

• Process bi-weekly & monthly payroll(s) for all employees using ADP Workforce Now
• Maintain and audit employee records for accuracy, including tax forms, pay rates, and benefit deductions?
• Manage quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including payroll reconciliations and W-2 processing?
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations?

Accounts Payable

• Process all invoices and payments in a timely manner within Paymerang & Blackbaud systems
• Create weekly batch payments and fund Paymerang through bank wire transfer
• Monitor vendor accounts, reconcile monthly statements, and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Coordinate with responsible internal parties to ensure proper invoice approvals and general ledger coding

Student Billing

• Manage entire student billing process through the Clarity tuition management and billing platform
• Coordinate with financial aid specialist to ensure proper application of aid to student accounts
• Assist enrollment team with updating the annual enrollment contract?

Other

The candidate is expected to be responsible for other general duties as assigned.

Qualifications?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience may be considered
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in an independent school setting
• A fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), relevant federal & state guidelines, and nonprofit accounting standards
• Preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now, Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, Paymerang, and Clarity systems
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail?
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines?
• Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner

Salary and Benefits

• The annualized salary range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000, commensurate with experience.
• The school offers a comprehensive benefit package.
